Environmental Audits

Environmental audits are independent third party reviews of a company's internal operations and processes for the purpose of assessing compliance with either environmental rules, regulations or systems.

They can range from legally mandated reviews of plant safety or emissions to voluntary inspections of environmental practices.

An environmental audit report ideally contains a statement of environmental performance and environmental position, and may also aim to define what needs to be done to sustain or improve on indicators of such performance and position.

These audits are undertaken according to client’s requirements and objectives, policies, environmental management systems and legislative requirements.
