Black Crystal offers capacity building to Community Based Organizations (CBOs) that are active and interested in environmental conservation focusing environmental issues that are affecting them locally and how they can take advantage of them and derive a benefit from them. We also offer support to environmental conservation projects that aim to solve community environmental problems like waste management an example is Glass for Africa that has a  business based on tackling their local waste management problems by recycling (up scaling) and selling the end product. This support comes in form of training, initial investment and networking with other Community Based Organizations.
